Join WI-JPA for our First Wisconsin State Jigsaw Puzzle Championship. Find your favorite fellow puzzlers and test your skills against fellow Wisconsin Speed Puzzlers.

Never been to a speed puzzle competition before? That’s okay, here is a quick explanation. Every team receives the exact same puzzle, the puzzle is not revealed until the competition starts. Once the competition starts, each group races to finish the puzzle as fast as they can.

We are hosting a solo, pairs, and teams speed puzzle event. In order to win any prizes solo puzzlers must be at least 16 years old and a Wisconsin Resident and at least one puzzler per pair/team needs to be both 18 years old and a current Wisconsin Resident. All puzzlers must comply with the age requirements, but non-Wisconsin residents can compete but will be ineligible for prizes. There will be a variety of tables, puzzlers get to pick their own table when they check-in. There will be prizes for the fastest puzzlers!

Solo Division - Sponsored by Eurographics

• 2 hr time limit

• 500 piece Eurographics puzzle

• 64 registration spots

• $20 entry fee per person

Pairs Division - Sponsored by Ravensburger

• 1 hour 30 min time limit

• 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle

• 64 pairs able to compete (up to 128 puzzlers)

• $30 entry fee per pair

Teams Division - Sponsored by Board Game Barrister

• 1 hour 30 min time limit

• 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle

• Up to 4 puzzlers per team

• 32 teams able to compete (up to 128 total puzzlers)

• $40 entry fee per team

Lunch

• Lunch will consist of at least 2 slices of pizza and a beverage.

• $5 fee per person

• Must be purchased ahead of time to guarantee food.

We are using Zeffy for ticket sales. Zeffy is free for us to use and does not include additional fees. They do ask for a tip on the final screen, the default value is 17%. If you would not like to pay Zeffy a tip, click the dropdown, select other, and leave the value as 0.
